Jiovanni Daniel grew up right outside of Chattanooga, TN before later moving to NYC to pursue an education in theatre from The New York Film Academy. While receiving this degree, Jiovanni had the opportunity to work with artists such as Nathan Brewer, Todd Buonopane, and T.J. Mannix and participate in shows and projects such as Cabaret and featured concerts. After graduating, Jiovanni decided to change career paths and pursue pop music full time. In a short amount of time he has managed to open up for artist such as Baby Tate, Known for her hit single "Hey Mickey". He has played at many places around the city including: Drom, Berlin Under Ave A, House of Yes, Three Dollar Bill and many more. Jiovanni just reached over 2 Million streams on his hit single "Rituals" and has managed over 40 Thousand Streams on his newest EP Titled "Kill All My Demons and...". Jiovanni is set to release his upcoming EP which is a continuation of the last EP, later this summer!

 

Being an artist to Jiovanni means being able to transport away from reality and feel something for a bit. Music being described as the universal language speaks to Jiovanni because it doesn’t create anger or hatred on it’s own. He longs to be a part of artistic collaboration and expression because he wants to help people out of their own heads and into a way of expressing themselves and hopefully, not feeling so alone. 

 

When not working in the arts, Jiovanni is passionate about sharing his love for fashion, getting outdoors, traveling as much as he can, and spending time with friends and family, playing board games and practicing his gymnastics in the park and rollerblading.
